Baseball Home Stand Continues With Tuesday Tilt vs. San Diego State

Riverside—The UC Riverside Baseball Team welcomes future Big West Conference member San Diego State to the Riverside Sports Complex on Tuesday, February 21. First pitch is slated for 6 pm PT.
Both clubs dropped two of three over the weekend to begin the 2012 season with UC Riverside taking on BYU and the Aztecs falling to Washington.
The Highlanders send right-hander Mitch Patito to the mound for his first-ever collegiate start. The junior worked out of the bullpen during his first two seasons earning Freshman All-America honors in 2010 and leading the squad in saves a year ago with six. The Aztecs counter with right-hander Adam Anawalt.
UC Riverside hits the road this weekend for a three-game set with Arizona State. The Sun Devils are ranked 13th in the nation by both Baseball America and Collegiate Baseball.
