Women's Golf Concludes Fall Season In Third Place At Firestone Grill Cal Poly Invitational

Arroyo Grande, CA—The UC Riverside Women's Golf Team concluded its fall season Tuesday afternoon with a third place finish out of 11 teams at the Firestone Grill Cal Poly Invitational with a final, two-day score of 624.
UCR was in a three-way tie for second place following Monday's first round of 316, and used a 308 in the second round to finish eight shots back of second-place Seattle (616). Host Cal Poly won the team title with a 608 total score.
Yuri Ahn tied for ninth place overall to pace the Highlanders, shooting a 152 (80-72). Savannah Vilaubi finished one stroke back with a 153 (75-78) to tie for 11th place, while Brittani Ferraro fired rounds of 76-80 (156) to tie for 15th.
Haley Wian tied for 38th with a 163 (85-78) while Isabelle Shee shot 85-85 (170) to finish 54th.
Playing as an individual, Hannah Lee placed 35th with rounds of 81-80 (161).
Santa Clara's Annie Freman won the individual title shooting a four-under-par 142, four shots ahead of a two-way tie for second place.
UC Riverside now returns to action in February for the Matador Invitational in Simi Valley, CA.
