Riverside—UC Riverside Men's Soccer athlete Richie Osborne is in his senior season with the blue and gold, and we here at gohighlanders.com got to know him a little better this fall via our Highlander Highlights series.

   ... also goes by the nickname "Cheese"
      ... plays midfielder
         ... has three older sisters
            ... majoring in history
               ... likes to play tennis
                  ... is deathly afraid of spiders

Richie would one day like to learn how to surf. His favorite quote is "If you ain't first, you're last."
Richie's greatest achievement so far was winning a national title with his club team, Santa Clara Sporting. If he could witness any event, he would like to see the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
In five years, Richie hopes to be starting a family and have a career in teaching.
