It's that simple for the UC Riverside Men's Basketball Team which can clinch a spot in the Big West Tournament with a victory Thursday over UC Davis (Watch Live On ESPN3).

The Highlanders and Aggies are tied with identical 4-10 conference records with two games to play. UC Riverside beat UC Davis back on January 16 with a furious second-half comeback that saw them turn a 19-point deficit into a 12-point win, 81-69 (box score/recap). That tied the program's Division I era record for largest deficit overcome in a win.

A victory over the Aggies on Thursday would put the Highlanders a game up with one to play, and UCR would have the tiebreaker advantage by virtue of beating Davis twice this season. If the Highlanders lose Thursday, they can still get into the tournament with a win at Long Beach State Saturday coupled with an Aggies loss at UC Irvine.

Thursday is also Senior Night for the Highlanders who will watch Lucas Devenny, Chris Harriel and Chris Patton ply their trade for the final time at the SRC Arena.

UC Riverside snapped a five-game losing streak on Saturday with a thrilling 106-105, double-overtime victory over Cal State Northridge (box score/recap/listen to highlights). The Aggies, meanwhile, have dropped five of their last six including a 67-54 decision at home against UC Santa Barbara on Saturday.
