St. George, UT- UC Riverside's Savannah Vilaubi of the women's golf squad will hit the links this Thursday, May 7-9 as she competes in the 2015 NCAA Regionals at the Entrada at Snow Canyon Country Club.
This is the first time women's golf has competed in regionals in UC Riverside history.
Joining Vilaubi are 18 teams and five other individuals making up a field of 96 golfers. The top six squads and the three highest finishing individuals not on an advancing team will move on to nationals from each of the four regionals. Vilaubi is one of two Big West individuals competing in the regionals as she is joined by Kassidy Teare from Long Beach State, who makes up another member of the six individuals in St. George.
The 54-hole event will be played over three days with one 18-round each day.
