Corvalis, OR—The West Coast League Player of the Week and Pitcher of the Week, as announced by league president Donnie Marbut, are San Diego junior first baseman Roman Garcia of the Corvallis Knights and UC Riverside junior pitcher Jacob Worrell of the Cowlitz Black Bears for the week of July 18-24.

Worrell pitched six no-hit innings last night at Vince Genna Stadium to earn the win in a combined shutout of Bend, 6-0. Earlier in the week, Worrell threw a key 2/3 innings of scoreless relief vs. the Elks, recording both outs by strikeout, in the Black Bears critical 5-4 victory at Cowlitz's David Story Field.
