Chance Murray's 19 Points Lead Three Highlanders In Double Figures In Men's Basketball's 81-65 Win Over Stanislaus State

Riverside—The UC Riverside Men's Basketball Team used a 12-4 run early in the second half to gain control of the game, en route to an 81-65 victory over visiting Stanislaus State.

KEY RUN
Leading 42-38, early in the second half, the Highlanders scored 12 of the next 16 points to go up by a dozen. They would lead by at least seven, and by as many as 19 the rest of the way.

KEY STATS
UC Riverside out-rebounded the Warriors 43-28.

The Highlanders made 22 of 28 free throws on the night, including 13 of 15 in the second half.

Stanislaus State forced UC Riverside into 18 turnovers.

GAME NOTES
Chance Murray just missed out on a double-double with 19 points and eight rebounds.

The Highlanders' starting guard trio of Chance Murray, Dikymbe Martin and Dominick Pickett scored a combined 39 points on 14 of 25 shooting from the field, including four for nine from three-point range.

UC Riverside gave playing time to 13 different players on the day, each of whom played at least four minutes. Chance Murray was the only player to log more than 27 minutes in the game (35).
