RIVERSIDE, Calif.— The UC Riverside Men's Soccer team will finish off its opening road stint this week as the Highlanders head north to face Pacific on Thursday evening and Cal Sunday afternoon.
Scouting the Tigers
Pacific enters Thursday's match with a 2-2 record after falling 1-0 to Marist this past Monday. UCR owns the all-time record over the Tigers having won the two teams' only matchup in 2014 5-1.
Scouting the Golden Bears
No. 14 Cal currently holds a 2-1 having lost to Pacific 2-1 last Friday. The Golden Bears will matchup with Sacramento State Thursday night before hosting the Highlanders on Sunday.
Don't Stop Believing
The Highlanders have fared well late in matches as they have scored three goals in the 85th minute or later. Two of those goals were knocked in by sophomore midfielder
Daniel Aguirre.
Homecoming
After starting the 2018 season with a six-match road stint, the Highlanders will return to Riverside for their first home match with UNLV on Friday, September 14th at 7:30 PM. Get your tickets
