COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - Kate Villegas (69-70-70-209) notched UC Riverside's second individual win in as many events this season, carding her second consecutive 70 in Idaho to claim the individual title at the Coeur D'Alene Resort Invitational. 

Villegas birdied two of her last four holes for the strong finish as UCR finished fifth as a team. 

Tiffany Le (72-71-69-212) shot 10 spots up the leaderboard on Tuesday's final round to finish in a tie for fifth.  Le was even par after the front nine, but 2-under on the back nine thanks to birdies on 11, 12 and 14. 

Four of five Highlanders in the lineup jumped up the leaderboard on Tuesday, but Vanessa Betancourt made the biggest splash with a 20-spot vault into the top 50. 

UC Riverside is back in action for its third of four fall tournaments on October 3 at the New Mexico State Golf Course, teeing off from the Golf Iconic Class. Live results will be available on Golfstat.
