RIVERSIDE, Calif. - Monea Jennings competed in the first of two UC Riverside-hosted track competitions for 2024 at the UC Riverside Spring Track Classic at the UCR Track Stadium.  

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Jennings started her day in the 100mH hurdles, finishing third with a 14.39.  
• She then moved to the high jump, claiming a 1.56m and a 9.45m in the shot put.  
• Jennings finished her afternoon with a 26.29 in the 200m dash.  

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS 

• Jennings' strong start to the day put her at seventh out of 16 competitors in the heptathlon with 2,879 points.

• Jennings will wrap up the Spring Multis on Friday from the UCR Track Stadium.
