IRVINE, Calif. - UC Riverside Track & Field compiled notable performances across the board during Friday and Saturday's Vince O'Boyle Classic at Anteater Stadium.  

HOW IT HAPPENED 

• Chelsea Aninyei continued her dominance in the long jump with a lifetime best on Friday at Anteater Stadium. Aninyei grabbed fifth place for UCR, setting her mark of 5.97m/19'7" on her fifth attempt.  
• Mateo Garcia (52.49m/172' 2") and Deven Martin (44.05m/144' 6") continued Friday's lifetime best trend in the hammer throw. Garcia's mark was a Big West qualifier and 10th all-time in school history.  
• Aaron Fruge recorded the fourth and final lifetime best of day one with a 7.46m/24-05.75 in the long jump. Fruge also cracked the top 10 and now ranks fifth all-time.  
• Juliana Base finished second in the javelin (43.28m/142' 0"), a week removed from her win at last weekend's UC Riverside Spring Classic.  
• The 4x100 squad of Olivia McIntosh-Adams, Raykiyat Olukoju, Jessica Boyd and D'Lainey Nakamoto secured the meet title with a top ten mark of 45.94 on day two.  
• UCR's 4x400 teams broke meet records on both sides to cap off Saturday. 

NOTABLES 

• The Highlanders collected seven meet records and four event wins over a two-day span.  
• Fruge collected his second top two finish in the outdoor long jump this season with his top 10 mark. The sophomore also won the high jump in Irvine with a 1.91m/6-03.75. 
• Aninyei tacked on a win as well, posting a 12.49m/40-11.75 in the triple jump for back-to-back victories in the event and a new meet record held previously by Melanie Ceballos.  
• Raykiyat Olukoju won the 200 (23.80) in her first outdoor 200 since winning last season's Big West title.
