COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho - Vanessa Betancourt and Riley Shin are in the top 15 on the leaderboard after another round at the Coeur D'Alene Collegiate Invitational. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Betancourt shot a 69 (-1) in round two and carded six birdies in Monday's second round. She was 2-under at the turn before entering Tuesday's final round in a tie for eighth. 
• Riley Shin is the second top-15 Highlander after shooting a 74 (+3) on Monday. The freshman is tied for 15th thanks to birdies on six and nine after a clean first four holes of the day. 
• Janna Andaya shot a season-low 73 (+2) on Tuesday with a pair of birdies to start her day. 
• UCR shot a 292 on the day and is fourth in the 13-team field with 28 birdies.
• Gabrielle Kiger shot a 76 (+5) on the day with birdies on four, seven, 11 and 13. 

HIGHLANDER HIGHLIGHTS

• Betancourt's round was her third sub-70 round of the season after round one at the Leadership and Golf Invitational and round three at the Timpanogos Collegiate Classic. 
• UCR jumped a spot on the team leaderboard heading into Tuesday's third round. 
• Mitzi Duarte shot a 74 (+3) in round two of individual competition and enters the final 18 holes in a tie for 34th.

• UC Riverside will tee off from the Coeur D'Alene Resort Golf Course at 8:50 a.m. as a team on the front nine, while Duarte and Maleyna Gregorio will start on 10 at 8:02 and 8:42, respectively.
