San Diego, CA—San Diego senior forward Stephanie Barnier scored the game-winning goal in the 34th minute Saturday to lead the University of San Diego to a 3-0 win over the UC Riverside Highlanders on Saturday.
Barnier scored thanks to an assist by Gina Poltl, who had two assists on the night. Junior Brenna Mullen would score twice in the second half to put Riverside away.
The Highlanders finish the season at 5-12 overall and 1-8 in the Big West.
