Cunningham's Two Scores Help Women's Soccer Secure No. 3 Seed With 2-1 Win Over LBSU

Long Beach, CA--Tyler Cunningham scored twice Sunday afternoon as the UC Riverside Women's Soccer team held on to defeat Long Beach State, 2-1, securing the No. 3 seed in the Big West Conference Tournament in the process.
Cal State Fullerton is the host for this year's conference tournament, and the Highlanders will take on second-seeded UC Irvine on Thursday, November 7 at 5 pm PT. The Titans, who picked up the four seed, will take on top-ranked Cal Poly at 7:30 pm.
This is the first appearance for the UC Riverside Women's Soccer Team in the conference tournament since the 2005 season. That year, the Highlanders enjoyed an undefeated, 4-0-3 record in Big West play and advanced to their first-ever NCAA Tournament.
