Women's Soccer Takes Fresno State To Overtime But Falls, 1-0

Fresno, CA—The UC Riverside Women's Soccer Team (2-5-2) took Fresno State to overtime Friday evening, but the Bulldogs netted the golden goal in the 94th minute for the 1-0 victory.
GAME NOTES
UC Riverside is 2-1-1 at home, but 0-4-1 away from the friendly confines of the UC Riverside Soccer Stadium.
Over the last two-plus seasons, the Highlanders are 0-7-6 in their last 13 overtime matches. The team's last victory in OT came in a 3-2 victory over UC Santa Barbara on October 1, 2014 (box score/recap).
All five of the Highlanders' losses this season have been shutouts.
