Bakersfield, CA—The UC Riverside Women's Soccer Team (3-7-2) exploded for three first-half scores Sunday evening, as the Highlanders upended CSU Bakersfield (5-7-0), 3-1.

GAME NOTES
The Highlanders three goals Sunday are the most they have scored in a match this season. The last time they scored three goals was on October 21, 2016 in a 3-0 shutout over visiting UC Santa Barbara (box score/recap).

Madeline Feist's goal was her first of the season, and second of her career.

Ashley Webb and Quinley Quezada each picked up their second goals of the season in Sunday's victory, and they are tied for the team lead.

Webb added an assist Sunday, and leads the team with six points.
