Jacob Badawi went 3 for 5 in the loss for his second straight multi-hit game and fourth in his last six while plating his sixth run in as many games. Jacob Shanks also went 3 for 5 with a run. Shanks and Badawi stretched their hit streaks to seven and six, respectively, while Anthony McFarland's on-base streak hit 17 games after a full-count walk in the sixth.Â
Game two of the series will be Saturday afternoon from Northridge at 2:00 p.m.
