Amanda Delgado completed her first season on staff in 2024. Delgado arrived at UC Riverside after assistant coaching stints at Louisville High School and Whittier College. She was also the head coach for the LA Bulls soccer club.
Delgado finished her collegiate career as a graduate student at LMU in 2022, starting all 17 matches for the Lions with a 1.12 goals against average. Prior to her time at Loyola Marymount, Delgado was a two-time Big West All-Academic and 2019 Second Team All-Big West selection at CSUN with 1.48 career goals against average and .736 save percentage.
Delgado graduated from CSUN in 2022 with her degree in sociology and left the program fourth in program history in career shutouts (12), fifth in matches played in goal (46), fifth in minutes in goal (4,075), fifth in wins (17) and sixth in saves (187).
A native of Downey, Delgado prepped at Bishop Amat Memorial High School and played her club soccer for Legends FC while winning a club national title in 2015.
