Men's Soccer Returns Home For Sunday Evening Match vs. UC Santa Barbara

Riverside—The UC Riverside Men's Soccer Team returns home this weekend to host UC Santa Barabara on Sunday, October 17 at 6 pm PT. Fans who are unable to attend the match at the UCR Soccer Stadium may follow the match online via LiveStats.
The Gauchos are currently second in the Big West with a 3-1-0 conference mark, a half game behind first place UC Irvine. The Highlanders are looking to climb back into the conference race with their first Big West win of the year.
UC Riverside is coming off of a 1-0 overtime loss at UC Davis on Wednesday evening which was their third straight one-goal loss in conference play. UC Santa Barbara, meanwhile, has won three straight Big West matches since opening the Big West season with a 1-0 overtime loss at Cal State Fullerton
The Gauchos and Highlanders have squared off against one another on 16 different occasions, and UC Santa Barbara owns a 14-1-1 record in the series. UC Riverside's lone win came in a 1-0 decision on Octber 11, 2006. Last season the Highlanders dropped a 1-0 match to the Gauchos when UCSB was ranked seventh in the nation.
