Irvine, CA—UC Irvine netted a pair of first-half goals Sunday afternoon as the UC Riverside Women's Soccer Team dropped a 2-0 decision to the Anteaters in the battle for first place in the Big West Conference.
GAME NOTES
The Highlanders are now four points behind UC Irvine, and one point behind UC Davis, in the race for the top spot in the conference standings.
UC Riverside scored six goals in its first three conference matches of the season, but have been shut out in each of the last two.
The Highlanders have been shutout eight times this season.
