Women's Soccer Takes San Francisco To Double OT, But Falls, 1-0

Riverside—The UC Riverside Women's Soccer Team (2-7-2) took San Francisco (4-4-2) into double overtime Friday evening, but the Dons took advantage of a Highlanders' miscue on the defensive end in the 103rd minute to escape with a 1-0 victory.
GAME NOTES
The Highlanders are 0-8-6 over the past two-plus seasons in overtime matches. UC Riverside last won an overtime contest on October 17, 2014 in a 3-2 victory over UC Santa Barbara.
Four of the Highlanders last five loses have been by just one goal.
The 409 fans in attendance are the most to attend a UC Riverside Women's Soccer match at home this season.
