SANTA BARBARA, Calif.  – One night after taking their hosts deep into every set, UC Riverside was unable to reach the 20-point mark during a three-set sweep by UC Santa Barbara Saturday night at The Thunderdome.

The Highlanders (6-22, 2-16 Big West) were led by Isabella Scarlett, who had team highs in blocks, kills and hitting percentage against the Gauchos (18-11, 14-3 Big West).

Having seen its losing skid hit five matches, UCR returns to SRC Arena Wed. Nov. 24, vs. Fullerton at 7 p.m. The conclusion of the reg season is Sat. Nov. 27, a 5 p.m. scheduled first serve at home vs. Long Beach.
