2012 Named to Big West All-Conference Team, his third consecutive all-conference honor (story)... Named to  Men's All-Far West Region's Second Team (story)... MLSsoccer.com named Diaz as the sixth best among top ten ranked central defenders in the 2013 MLS Draft, landing him a spot on the Chivas USA Team (story)...
