Women's Soccer Drops 6-0 Decision To Arizona

Tucson, AZ—The UC Riverside Women's Soccer Team traveled to Arizona Friday evening looking to move over the .500 mark, but it was the Wildcats who came away with a 6-0 victory (Box Score).
Six different players dented the back of the net for Arizona (3-0) giving the Wildcats 11 goals in three matches this season. The scores were evenly distributed as Arizona led 3-0 at the half outshooting the Highlanders 6-2. Elizabeth Silas was in goal for UC Riverside (1-2) to start the match, and Nicole Ragano played the final 45 minutes recording three saves.
UC Riverside managed just six shots on the day, three of which were on goal.
The Highlanders return to the Inland Empire on Sunday for a 7 pm PT kick of against Northern Arizona.
