Alexa Bustamante's Two Goals Lead Women's Soccer To 2-0 Win Over CSU Bakersfield

Bakersfield, CA—Alexa Bustamante scored the first two goals of her collegiate career, and Amber Marani picked up two assists as the UC Riverside Women's Soccer Team upended CSU Bakersfield, 2-0, Sunday evening.
Bustamante gave the Highlanders the early lead as she headed Marani's cross past RoadRunners keeper Tori Ornela in the 14th minute of play.
The pair teamed up again nine minutes into the second half to make it a 2-0 UC Riverside lead.
Elizabeth Silas recorded eight saves in goal for the Highlanders as UCR ran its record to 3-4-1.
UC Riverside is on the road this Friday, September 20 for a noon match at Southern Utah before returning home on Sunday, September 22 for an 11 am meeting with Tulsa.
