High School Marani played four seasons at Walnut High School for Head Coach Lorraine Hansen winning the league championship her freshman and sophomore seasons and advancing to the first round of the playoffs all four years ... Went undefeated and unscored upon in league play as a freshman and sophomore ... As a senior, was named Hacienda League MVP, Team MVP, Walnut High School Female Athlete of the Year and was inducted into the Walnut High School Hall of Fame ... Captained the squad in 2011-12 and was co-captain in 2010-11 ... Named Team Playmaker of the Year and First Team All-League as a junior ...
